  • I am pregnant or have just had my baby...

    Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy or birth! We are excited and honoured to be involved in your care.  Physiotherapists are an essential part of your pregnancy and postnatal team. 

    It is recommended to see a physiotherapist as part of your scheduled care:

    • Early in your second trimester (Week 14-20)
    • At around 30-34 weeks as part of birth preparation, and 
    • Six weeks post delivery

    We recommend you booking a "Initial Pregnancy or Postnatal Physiotherapy Appointment".

    We also offer "Pregnancy", "Remedial" and "Womb Hara Massage".

    These appointments can be in clinic in Bundall, or in the comfort of your own home*.

    *$30 travel fee will be additional to cost of appointment.

  • I have bladder, bowel, and/or prolapse concerns.

    I'm also short on time, busy with life, but I know the importance to not let these issues get bigger and want to be proactive in my health.

    • We recommend you booking a "Initial Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Appointment".
    • This appointment is in-person and comprehensive. The length of appointment is 60 minutes to ensure that all your concerns are understood and addressed and if required, referrals to other health professionals are made.
  • I have pelvic and/or sexual pain...

    And I am ready to add in a dedicated physiotherapist into my team so that I can move into the life I want.

    • We recommend you booking a "Initial Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Appointment." and ask about our signature "NURTURE Program".
    • The in-person appointment is comprehensive with Zara, a Senior and Titled APA Physiotherapist. The length of appointment is 60 minutes to ensure that your whole story is understood, a gentle but thorough assessment can be completed, and a pelvic wellness program can be developed suited to your unique needs.
    • "NURTURE" is a 4-week group program specifically designed by Zara + Renee for women with persisting pelvic and sexual pain.

NURTURE takes women on a 4-week journey to explore the foundations of their pelvic pain and has practical components where women get to try and test out new ways on how to manage their pain. This is all delivered in a supportive group environment with women with similar experiences of pain.

Pregnancy and Post Birth Care

Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy or birth! We are excited and honoured to be involved in your care.  Physiotherapists are an essential part of your pregnancy and postnatal team. 

During pregnancy, Zara will complete a comprehensive assessment of the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, provide advice on healthy bladder and bowel habits, and create an individualised pregnancy exercise and pelvic floor plan. After birth, additional care will be provided to provide guided return to function, exercise, and intimacy.

It is recommended to see a physiotherapist as part of your scheduled care:

  • Early in your second trimester (Week 14-20)
  • At around 30-34 weeks as part of birth preparation, and
  • Six weeks post delivery

Zara has completed her Masters in Continence and Women's Health at Curtin University and is an APA Titled Women's, Men's and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. This and being a mother herself ensures that she will provide the uttermost dedication and care in your pelvic wellness, pregnancy and postpartum journey.
